- Must be accepted into an accredited postsecondary institution
- Must enroll in and receive 12 credit hours per semester
- Must have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must have attended an accredited postsecondary institution

- Must have completed associate degree within three years of hiring date
- Students cannot be accepted into a bachelor’s program
- Position is limited to a two-year appointment
